Campus Center Building – Call to Artists

Central Oregon Community College (COCC) seeks to commission three art pieces of various mediums for their new Campus Center Building.  These interior works of art will be displayed in highly visible areas throughout the building.

The art will provide an intriguing focal point to engage people. It will resonate with the energy and vibrancy of the campus center.

Selection Process

The selection panel is comprised of college art faculty and administrators and one student. The panel will select up to three finalists for each project. The panel reserves the right to reject all submissions.  

  Selection Criteria

• Artistic quality and originality.
• Relevance and appropriateness to the site.
• Ability to engage the visitors to the building and establish a focal point.
• Ability to complete the project on time and within budget. 
• Durability and quality of materials used and ease of maintenance.
